ALEC GUTHRIE

Chief Executive Officer

As CEO I am responsible for setting the wider strategy and business plan for the Group and ensuring that the right people are working within the business to achieve that plan. I am passionate about how we make Leasehold work specifically delivering a comprehensive service to Resident Management Companies. The challenge put upon a lay Director being asked to run a Residents Management Company is an unenviable one and making sure there are the professionals in the sector to advise these clients is in itself a challenge, one the Vegner Group are keen to deliver upon.

JAMES HOWGEGO

Chief Financial Officer

I am the main Board Director and am responsible for the presentation of financial information at board and investor meetings and the appraisal, modelling and due diligence of acquisition opportunities. I raise bank debt and management of bank relationship (Vegner has in excess of 8,000 client bank accounts), as well as manage the audit, group budgeting, taxation, and treasury management processes. My role extends to company secretarial/companies act responsibility for all Group companies, as well as holding responsibility for FCA reporting and compliance.

DAVID BOND

Chief Strategy Officer

As Chief Strategy Officer (CSO) I work in collaboration with the CEO and the senior management team to implement the strategic vision for the Group that focuses on effective growth; oversees implementation of the strategic plan, builds new partnerships to grow and sustain the organisation, manages special projects, while serving in a high-profile external role representing the CEO.

RICHARD SCOTT

Director of Human Resources

I joined the Vegner Group in December 2015 and am responsible for overseeing all aspects of the HR function. No one day is the same in HR, but my general responsibilities include guiding, managing and providing strategy on the people function for the Vegner Group. A core function of my role is to develop Vegner’s culture, development, organisation and recruitment. Since joining Vegner, I have led the implementation of policies and programmes created by the wider senior management team and have helped Vegner win multiple awards.

CHRISSY MOUSKIS

Group Director of B-hive Block Management Partners

I am responsible for the B-hive Partners division of the Vegner Group creating a network of independent Block Management Partners working in Partnership with B-hive. Our division brings a fresh and transformative approach to estate and block management enabling businesses to either add block management services to their current offering or empowering Property Managers to independently run their own business.

ERICA MASON

Group Director of HML Property Management

I am responsible for the overall success of the HML property management division and branch network, leading on all business operations relating to leasehold management and its people and ultimately ensuring profitability and achievement of our long-term goals.

MICHAEL HEHIR

Chief Operating Officer of B-hive Property Solutions

With over 17 years industry experience, I have developed a strong understanding of leasehold legislation and industry best practice, specialising in the discipline of Service Charge Accounting. Having spent 13 of my 17 years with the Vegner Group (formerly HML), I have a deep affinity for the business and have witnessed its growth and evolution first-hand. My role, as the strategic and operational lead for the B-hive Property Solutions back-office, is to work closely with the various department heads to continuously look to improve the service delivery, increase revenue streams and create efficiencies, utilising technology for the benefit of the clients, employees and the wider company.

MARK TEJADA

Director of Acquisitions

As Acquisitions Director my role encompasses seeking out potential businesses for purchase, negotiations, overseeing due diligence, financial planning, scoping, closing, and integration to the appropriate sector within the wider Vegner Group. I report to the CEO regarding risks and opportunities for impending and ongoing acquisition activities, and post-acquisition integration management.

DAVID FLACK

Director of Health and Safety

I have taken on the newly created role of Director of Health and Safety, responsible for determining and implementing the health and safety strategy for the Group. Having been with Vegner for 7 years and involved with health and safety in the residential block industry for a decade now, my knowledge and experience with health and safety will help to drive compliance. I am passionate about Health and Safety and aim to ensure the Group is at the forefront of safety management in the sector.

DARREN POWELL

Managing Director of Faraday Property Management

I head Faraday Property Management, a well-established property management and building surveying practice, specialising in servicing a prestigious portfolio of Central London mansion blocks. What sets the business apart from many of its competitors is its ability to offer high-quality property management, surveying and client finance services from one location. My role includes setting direction and seeing projects through to conclusion, working with my experienced management team at Faraday. I was first introduced to the industry via valuation and finance, having acquired a Bachelor of Property from the University of Auckland. I later passed my APC and am a Professional Member of the RICS (carrying the MRICS designation).

DAVID BROOME

Managing Director of Dauntons Soar

I am a member of the IRPM and Associate of the RICS, after completing a degree in economics at Nottingham University and a post graduate diploma in estate management. I have a wealth of Property Management experience having worked in the industry for well over 10 years in a variety of senior roles. My responsibilities include ensuring the stability of the Dauntons Soar business and maintaining the existing business model, whilst developing and growing the company through other avenues.

LISE BAKER

Project Manager

I have worked in a variety of roles in my career, ranging from IT Helpdesk through to managing a short-let Airbnb offering. All the experience I have gained has helped me thrive as a project manager and strengthened my ability to manage a wide variety of projects.
